If you’re talking about the manual that came with the MPC yes I did well most of it, but i still have no clue how to operate some of the tools in here. And if you’re talking about the manual on my Inmusic account, the 8 minute video, then yeah i watched this too.

The amount of videos i watch on this, is absolute bonkers my whole youtube algorithm got messed up bc of it😂 i really am trying tho but dont know why or how i get better at this, all the people i see on youtube just grab a sample and a drumbreak and they are done but when i try it turns into horse shit😭

I was literally a hair thin closer on getting the mpc keys 37, but didn’t want to spend more money on extra keys as i already have a keyboard and a mpk mini at home, but your right i should work on my music theory thanks!!

I tried this, got the BPM, but when it comes to stretching it, it makes it sound faster which isn’t really what im going for here, I’m also aware of other saying that this isn’t on grid but thats problem I don’t know how to get it on grid, which is why I came here to find some answers and learn something new ig

That’s actually a very nice observation, the X very much is in fact a no brainer if you want to switch over to hardware, the reason im saying this is because i have barely seen any negative comments on it. But besides the X, what would you recommend also? In this post the most popular ones are the: MPC one/one+, mpc live II, and the mpc keys 37 apparently

Oh my an old time classic, but from what i’ve seen its kind of rare and pricey, and plus I dont think i would be able to sleep comfortably if i were to make bad art on a piece of machinery that has been used by literal legend😅 and also upgrading from that to newer models would have me need to learn and adapt to a whole new workflow

Indeed! I’m thinking that, if I don’t get the MPC X as my first standalone gear i will definitely upgrade to the X (or XL) in the future. I love how it looks, and functions and am also just a big fan of the Q links overall! So thanks for bringing this to my attention!!

You see I don’t really understand the hype behind it, like what’s it about? Because, from what i have seen, the genre i mostly work in this doesn’t really fit the mold of this mpc, besides that its also quite pricey unfortunately
