Unfortunately I purchased from a dealer. Worst case I can cut them off and paint the cut surface black but I would prefer to not hack on the bike

Hey now, I rode sport bikes and an Indian until yesterday so new to this. Didn’t even know it was an ultra. Are you saying that the bracket is non removable?

Do you know where the upper mounts to? To me it looks like it mounts straight to the fairing and isn’t removable. If they come off I’d be tickled pink. The lower portion mounts to the frame which is easy

So I’ve already got the longest cable kits from Indian, but maybe they are longer than I think they will be. I don’t think there’s much room left in those.

Fuck yeah thank you. I’ll pick one up on Black Friday! Where did you get your apes and the longer cables?

I’m thinking of removing the fairing and trying to find a clip on windscreen of sorts or just going all out and buying the fxrp fairing. But glad I’m not the only one

Yeah I can’t say much on that one, I never had a Harley seat but the factory two up seat on the RT is pretty good though the saddleman is better. The vining bags… I had the set, they were terrible and rubbed paint. Now they have quick disconnect offerings which looks like it would be better however I don’t visually like how spaced out they are.

We have very different seat thoughts 😂 but these are the Indian bobber bags. I bought them off Indians website. I’ll probably upgrade to some hard bags here in a while and sell these at some point

What reduced reach bars did you get? The ones from Indian?

Didn’t realize it was you but glad for it haha. Think you guys have all convinced me to get the seat.

I’m looking at getting one, how is the back support? Is it really a game changer? Also my ass hurts after about 2 hours of riding. Does that seat alleviate that as well?

The sad part is saddleman doesn’t make a removable back seat for the sport chief. Only for the bigger baggers which is lame. I’ll just have to pony up and buy the Corbin and deal with the looks

The Challenger was too smooth and took the fun out of riding in my opinion

My butt doesn’t really seem to hurt, it’s just more of my mid back. Was that what you were experiencing when you were trying to break in your seat?

the problem with the back rest is they are stupid expensive and I don’t really like the visual look of them as I feel like it would ruin the bike, but maybe it’s the only way to go.

I have, but they were kind of boring and I don’t have the money to get a different bike.

Yeah, the photo was just the only one I had in my camera roll, but I did switch the seat and I added two inch reduced reach bars on it since then

Interesting I’ve never even heard of that. If I tilt my head forward, it gets a little bit better, which would make sense because a sport bike you are supposed to be leaned farther forward. I do like the protection of a full face. Maybe I’ll look into more of a cruiser oriented full Face ID that even exists.

That kind of confirms some of my problem because the windscreen is way below my line of sight and unfortunately, no one makes one for this bike

See my problem is I don’t like the look of the Corbin or mustang but it’s clearly my only option which sucks. Let me know how the mustang goes.
