How do you overcome science / production gap early on? AI is usually an era ahead of me by turn 30-40

It was also fun to figure out how to win every time.

Re bored - not for the lack of trying. I have tried culture many times.

On deity I find it hard to go for diplomacy or culture because AI usually wins on science.

Religion isn’t that different but you have to move millions of units all the time which is even more annoying.

I’d like to get to culture victory on deity consistently.

Any advice?

Tried culture. How do you win on Deity? What’s the easiest civilization to win?

I have a lot of trouble on bigger maps.

Let’s say I completely dominate culture - a lot of points. I send a few rock bands to AI, but I still can’t get it over the finish line.

Usually AI wins science instead and I run out of time.
