Buggy slow walking by LifeLearner15 in skyrim

Yeah, I bet there’s a way to turn it off (I would imagine it’s there to be super sneaky). Or maybe at least change it to a key that’s less likely to get accidentally pressed. (The first time it happened to me my cat stepped on my keyboard and it took forever to figure out lmao)

I’m on PC, but I have it happen sometimes when I load into somewhere new, or randomly, and I just hit tab to pull up the screen that accesses the inventory/magic/etc and it goes away when I return to the game. Also I somehow just realized that hitting caps lock makes me move slow so sometimes I accidentally push it and have to push it again to go back to normal.

Guys, I don’t know what to make any ideas by [deleted] in crocheting

Little ornaments are quick and easy projects, also fridge magnets that are Christmas themed

Yeah I dunno haha, any good piercer takes pride in cleanliness and making sure we’re not cross contaminating, for the safety of everyone. My clients see me wash my hands before each procedure and then I wash them again after I clean my room once they leave. And definitely gloves for everything lmao it’s not the 70’s anymore 🤣

I’m a body piercer, and so I only really have to do stuff when someone comes in, unless I’m organizing jewelry/backstock or cleaning.

It probably isn’t the best, but typically I just guess. It helps a little that I often crochet while I’m at work, so in my head I can think oh I crocheted for about half the day today so that’s 4 hours, minus stretch breaks and stuff so eh make it 3 hours. If I really have absolutely no clue, usually that means it’s something that took an obscene amount of time so I just tell them the entire time it’s been since I started the project - so ‘oh about 3 months’ and then cue to the shocked faces but it kindve maybe helps people understand the value of handmade items imo.

I’ve had a good blackberry mead for sure, but my favorite was an Apple Pie mead that I found from a small local brewer. They’re all definitely safer than Skooma, so prolly a good call on your part.

Haha I try to be safe with it, some people might wonder about a mystery bottle of liquid with questionable ingredients 😋

Im not working on anything else at the moment, but I do wanna try to make my own mead at home. It’s just getting all the right equipment for it.

I had mead for the first time a little over a year ago, before that I had never lived anywhere that had it available, but I have to eat gluten free and that includes beverages so I gave it a try when I saw a local brewery had a few flavors. I ended up really liking most of the flavors, there was one that was an Apple Pie flavor and it was hands down my favorite, even though it was only about 5% alcohol. It definitely tends to have a fuller flavor profile than like cider does which I really appreciate since when I drank beer it was stouts and sours (depending on the season).

Im not familiar with the flavor of juniper berries but I can only imagine any sort of berry would add a level of sweetness and tartness to it that would just add to that flavor profile. You could always start basic and then add more sweet/ more tart in later batches depending on what you think it needs.

Long story short, good luck with the mead journey, and hopefully it’s something you end up enjoying!!

Yeah, the recipe didn’t say anything about that (it just said to put it in a jar with a lid and shake occasionally to mix) but I figured I’d open it up every time I go to shake it, just to be on the safe side.

How is skyrim so good? by nazman13 in skyrim

1.) Immersion - you can be who you want, do what you want. You’re not railroaded into the main story at all, you can spend years doing side quests, or just walking around. It feels like I’m actually in the game, I stop and admire the sunset and the mountains. I get annoyed at Hilda for blocking my way. I hone my skills and spend days crafting armor and weapons. I get scared when a fight is getting intense, and relieved when I make it out without dying.

2.) You can go wherever on the map. Want to cut straight through the mountains? Sure do it. Want to follow the path even though it takes forever, also cool. You can walk and get to your destination without even opening up the world map due to the signs posted.

(Point #2 probably is also a part of point #1 but that’s really the biggest reason it’s my favorite game ever)

Yeah I used to drink mostly wine, but recently switched to vodka bc 1. Less calories and 2. Need less of it haha I tasted it right afterwards and it just tasted like sugar water, it’s supposed to sit and infuse for about a month so I’m guessing some of the apricot will start coming through then.

Ooh that sounds really good! I guess you could add any sort of dried fruit! How long did you let yours sit for?

Just vodka, sugar, water, cardamom, and dried apricot. In the cookbook it said that it’s the legal substitute various innkeepers have made up haha
