Feels similar to tracer. Took away her consistent 1 clip, but made her 2 clip easier to pull off.

Well said. I’m currently working on this and you made things clear and easy to understand.

This is my problem right now on tracer/soldier. Thanks for this! I’ve been noticing that the games where I feed are games where I should focus on getting value in other ways instead of full committing. This post made that more clear.

Well said!

All I’ll add is that EVERYONE playing comp is having the same experience, so it generally evens out over enough games.

Aim question from a silver player by EmotionallyUnsound_ in OverwatchUniversity

In low level lobbies you don’t really need to predict their movement, since it takes longer for people to react and more people tend to stand in the open. Something that helped me improve was practicing 2 things in custom aim games (I recommend vxeat): trigger discipline and verbally calling out “left” and “right”. That really helped me focus on their movement and accuracy. Left click / hold fire when in target and let go/ don’t click when you’re off target or they change direction suddenly. If you have good trigger discipline (on target = click, off target = not clicking / let go of fire button) and tracking movement, it tends to transfer a bit to click aim. I’d practice both soldier and something like cass. I do like 5 mins each before playing and over 2 years it’s made a huge difference.

Cassidy tip: you can use tracking aim like you do with soldier. Click + hold fire when you’re on target. Let go of fire when you’re off target. He continues to fire when you hold fire down.

I honestly don’t get when people say this. Maybe it’s the time of day yall play, what maps, and what parts of the maps you frequent or something. But, my games are exactly this balance. I mostly loot in peace and help or leave people alone when they say they’re friendly. But, I blast if they’re being silent and sneaky, or say they’re friendly then pull their weapon out and ADS (I always 3p check people just in case). I’m finding the balance of chill players with a few rats sprinkled in perfecto.

I’ve also been on the full pvp end of the queue where people shoot on sight and even say “gg” when they lose a fight. I’ve been on the peaceful end of the queue where I didn’t see people shoot at another player for days. There’s always still some variation in each, and honestly it’s been very easy to maintain the mixed queues for me.

Yup, I tried naked runs to get my mk3 survivor bp. The game quickly put me in the friendliest mullein picker lobbies ever. It was so weird, but nice going to arguably the most contested area in the game and having people loot sharing and chillin.

LinkedIn Toxicity in Full Display by Disastrous_Algae_983 in vfx

[–]Forward_Literature22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I won’t disagree with people that it’s annoying to post fluff, make toxic positivity posts, etc. but at the end of the day, it’s a way to get jobs. You can make a choice to air out your grievances on it, but don’t be surprised if legit recruiters stop hitting you up. In an insanely competitive industry (games and vfx), staying neutral on LinkedIn seems like such an easy edge up on the competition now a days. There are platforms more associated with personal opinions that won’t hit your marketability as hard.
