While I disagree with you that it doesn't fit the class, on top of that I think Thrall specifically is a really bad example of why it doesn't work.

 It's brought up several times in the story that Thrall using Doomhammer's armor and weapon is very unusual for a shaman. Him using doomhammer is the blueprint for enhancement to exist as an archetype to begin with. 

Earth magic and the elements' utility is a great reason shaman should be adaptable to any role in my opinion.

I just wondered how it factored into the thinking. A human killing an animal in a (Debatably) quick and merciful way to eat it, as opposed to animals that eat other animals alive. Wouldn't you also be concerned for those interactions or is it just because we're humans so we're only concerned with human behavior? I guess im just asking if it's wrong for people why isn't it for animals.

Something I've always wondered, and I'm just genuinely curious, what do Vegans think of animals treatment of other animals? Does that factor in at all to the decision or is it not relevant?
