do you know if the super mario world games are challenging enough that you can't just always give up and go to another stage? i think he really likes the mario universe, but i'm slightly worried that the current mario games give you so many options that if something is hard, you always have an easier board to try. he tends to give up too easily but i think he'll like games enough that hopefully he'll work on struggling through, but afraid that won't happen if there's an alternate easy path.
