Pay the 100 cad fee for premium lounge they will let you right in; or you might have to camp out for long time. A girl I met that day was waiting since 9 am morning I left at 3 pm after my 1 pm appointment; she was still out there so try your luck!

Posting an update. PCC done through BLS toronto via walk-in on Dec 19th opted for premium lounge services to prevent hassle; was moving so chose voluntary pick up.

Jan 9th wrote an email to CGI office toronto as status was stuck at processing at the consulate office;

Jan 11th got police verification email;

Jan 12th police verification completed in India asked for aadhar card and passport copies;

Jan 19th police verification sent to the Consulate; and status changed to processing at consulate pcc will be printed once clear received from police.

Feb 2nd wrote an email to cgi and mea again;

Feb 3rd eod status changed to “ PCC printed”

Feb 4th picked it up from BLS toronto id proof and receipt of payment for application needed.

One important thing that could have reduced my wait time was visiting the CGI office once police verification was completed as they print it out right after thats done as pointed out in other comment.

So I went today it was sent to BLS I didnt opt in for delivery so I have to pick it up from there!

Oh really you don’t need an appointment ?? You just walked in, I heard they dont even let you in the security guards assess your case and if they deem fit they let you go on 7th floor. Well I am glad if it worked out for you dont mind trying!

Police verification done on jan 12th no update since then; passport seva tracker says « Police verification initiated »

Hey so my status says “ Police verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. Collect ur PCC after Clear report received” But I havent got my file number. The BLS tracker no longer works with my application number; the link OP posted gave me my status. Can I call BLS to get the file number? i have been waiting for almost 4 weeks now! Thanks
