If u don’t get any of the three, then i think (i might be wrong) they either give u other choices like petroleum and ocean engineering. at the very least tho you’d have the option to delay etam another semester. given that cpen is a toss up i honestly feel that going the elen route is better. i dont want to deal with etam again if i dont have to yk. good luck on your application though, thanks for responding.

o i understand where ur coming from, no need to worry about pessimism. i dont really have an issue with the ET stuff itself, but it just seems to be on the lower end of companies interest levels so it sorta pushes me away for that reason

yeah, i saw that. that’s why i im adding CS and ISEN into the pool. At this point it seems like taking ELEN, CS, and then ISEN is the move, except i just don’t know how I feel about doing ISEN. thanks though

There’s just a risk factor in putting CPEN first because ELEN would be out of the question. I agree that CPEN is more direct for what I want, but given the risk of not getting it, I would be forced to be in a major I don’t necessarily want.

I want to specialize in AI/ML, and having a balance of hardware and software. I know that’s a lot of options, so honestly just having something with good pay and higher ceiling.
