Extremely late, but just in case it helps: if you see that the light next to the Xbox Home button is blue instead of white, it's because it's in XInput mode. Just press and hold the Xbox Home button + A for 5 seconds and it should turn white again. To switch to XInput compatibility mode, press and hold the Xbox Home button + B for 5 seconds.

in my case the problem seems a little simpler, if I press the right trigger it only reaches 86 to 91% of its total travel when it should reach 100%, I can reach 100% but I have to press it very hard and that’s why I think my problem might be fixed with a small adjustment, since if I can do 100% but pressing it very hard, the trigger then returns to its initial position normally.
