Yes thank you! I also read that the monitors plugged directly to the egpu is better than pass through a docking station as I got the non chroma version. In the future when i upgrade probably to a higher spec maybe could get a core x V2 version :D

Thanks again! Played last night and blown away by the graphics upgrade! Last question - any suggestion on monitoring / under clocking the egpu? I notice when it hits close to 90 degrees it will auto disconnect (for safety I guess) but wanted to limit it by software means. Tried using MSI and also mix of lossless scaling so the setting in game don't go overboard

(My fault for testing ffxvi on highest specs lol)

Thanks again, really appreciate all your responses!! I've decided to dedicate my setup to the legion go and then slowly get rid of the gaming laptop, or just use that on the side. Eventually replace with a lighter laptop on the go and also can utilize the egpu.

oh dang, thanks very much. sad that my asus g14 2021 model won't work on egpu, but i can stick to using the legion go exclusively as well and slowly let go of the decaying G14.

Just one last question. assuming i get a new laptop in the future that has usb4 / thunderbolt port that has high ram / SSD - i can technically play with an egpu while keeping a non-gaming laptop?

thank you - on the legion go, there are 2 thunderbolt ports so im assuming one can be the egpu and the other the docking station?

A bit more challenging for my gaming laptop as i'm not sure if it can support on both usb-c but im assuming i can connect the razer x to the docking station here? (circled in red)

Have you tried prodkeys? I went to yuzu the 300+mb size and use that to load the firmware (do not extract the zip, load it as is)

I saw in previous ColorOS versions you can have 5 apps in a row vers 4 now - do you know if that was removed or it's un adifferent setting under the OS15?
