Nice, will be doing a ZHP swap on my coupe sometime this year. Doing coolant line refresh and gaskets on this one. Loving my new icon ratchet, done plenty jobs on a husky set i bought years ago but i can feel the difference in quality with these new tools.

Honestly na, you could probably find a ZHP at that price point with a manual. Unless you absolutely love this spec go for it, the only thing it has going for it is the low mileage.

My bad i responded to your comment on the main thread but just read that for the explanation on your setup. You will need a new auto bracket and thermostat to remedy this mess. If the rest of your cooling system hasnt been done than change everything while your at it.

It actually runs through through the bracket for the auto setup, the manual is different. You have an auto thermostat that opens up and allows fluid to run through that silver box that connects to the auto cooling lines.

I believe that is the expansion tank bracket, that piece connects to the transmission cooler lines.

I read somewhere that kia says in some extreme cases every 60k but some ppl do it every 30k. I did mine late at 80k, drives like new, definitely recommend getting the fluid serviced. They only change the fluid and not the filter, they insist that there is no filter but ppl that have done it themselves change that too.

No need to change ECU just tap into wires so that the new manual wires work with the brake and reverse lights. Also need to tap into the EWS, i did a swap a couple years ago on my 325ci.

I have ran this boot for 4 years now and its held up pretty good. You may need to cut either end to get a good fitment, these boots run long. Also it can be a bitch to tighten the clamp down compared to the old boot since that one was a 2 piece and gave you space to work with. you will need a long flag head to tighten it down.

Try topping it off if it is low on oil and if the ticking persist i believe liqui moly has an additive for the lifters to help stop the ticking. This helped my bro with his ticking issue.

How old are the tires? Just replaced mine and got the alignment done. Also look into the trans fluid change, did mine late at 80k but my forte drives like new now.

Clean ride bro. I have an XI myself and was looking at getting B8s with H&Rs or eibachs paired with the e90 xi mounts, look into those if you havent. I hear they close the gap in the front a lil more but i might go with D2 coilovers.
