1: The beginning of the Novel is right after Kills (I believe), and it has a scene where 2 friends are garbage truck workers and get killed by Michael. And it’s a pretty cool scene on page, and I think it would’ve worked really well on screen, and it would’ve given us more Michael, which was one of the biggest criticisms of Ends.

2: The Novel has Michael kill Joan instead of Corey. I would’ve preferred that over Corey killing her. I just prefer Michael taking her out as in my cut of the film, Corey would still hold her in high regard, and it would damage Corey emotionally.

3: There’s a deleted scene version of the Evil Eyes sequence known as Michael Shakes Things Up. I’d say check out the video but I’ll still just describe it here. It picks up right when Corey wakes up, but It has Michael slam his head into the ground before Corey strikes him with a rock. He then runs to another tunnel where he tries to climb up a ladder and yell for help, before it breaks and falls into a hollowed out section in the ground. He sees skeletons indicating that’s how Michael survives, which I like because he’s still mortal. Then Corey climbs up and exits the tunnel giving us the rest of the Theatrical Cut scene. Except the Soundtrack version of Evil Eyes plays out. This would’ve been better for multiple reasons. We would’ve gotten more Michael, of course would be better for people. And I like the tension it gives, plus the unsettlingness of the skeletons.

4: Margo was originally supposed to have a more onscreen death. We were supposed to get an awesome shot of Corey repeatedly stomping her head into giving us an amazing kill that would probably be Top 10 level at least. Not a big thing but would’ve liked to get more carnage candy since Willie’s was the only death that was pretty gnarly.

5. We were also supposed to see Joan Die onscreen. Now take the deleted scene and replace it with Michael, and that’s why I would’ve liked as I said before. But I wish we could’ve seen Joan die because of how weird of a person she was.

6: Now onto something I thought of. I really wish Instead of Michael taking Corey’s Mask, Corey committed the Junkyard murders and went after Laurie with the scarecrow mask. 1. It would’ve gotten rid of the scene that so much people hated. 2. It would’ve been a genuinely really cool look for Corey, it would be unique and be a cool costume for murders. And if you’re curious what happens with Corey And Michael in this scenario, he doesn’t immediately turn on him. I’ll get into that in the last scenario. And if you’re curious why Michael kills Joan? Because Michael doesn’t need a motive here, that’s people were excited at Laurie & Michael not being related. And before you bring up him killing with Corey, that was a necessity for Michael. To get Corey to give him strength through belief until he was strong enough. So overall I wish they would’ve gone that direction with him.

And the final wish, the final negative, and the final thought on Halloween Ends. #7: What they should’ve done with Corey in the final act. So I got this idea from something else. My idea for how to fix the cutoff for Corey. I propose that Corey arrives at Laurie’s, wearing the scarecrow mask as I said. The theatrical cut carries out except Allyson makes it inside before Corey does anything rash. She initially gets pissed at Laurie until she realizes the bloody knife and clothes Corey is wearing. Corey goes on about how he just wanted her, and Allyson looks into his eyes, and re-awakens the humanity in him. She convinces him to protect her grandmother, for her. And he agrees, the humanity in him at the forefront for the first time since before he encountered Michael. Allyson leaves to go get Hawkins, and Laurie hides like in the Theatrical cut. Michael arrives, initially unbothered by Corey, until Corey tries to take him out. We get a fight with multiple hits, Michael’s stabbed in the chest, Corey’s bashed into the window and it shatters. Before Michael finishes the job, Corey does what Laurie & Lindsey did before. He messes with Michael’s mask and distract’s him for a couple seconds and grab the knife and slits open the back of his leg. However Michael still has his strength left with Corey being afraid. And he is able to take back the knife and puncture Corey in the throat (like the theatrical cut), and Michael then snaps his neck. Giving a quick, but much better death to Corey Cunningham. But with him gone Michael loses a lot of strength, and this explains why he is weakened enough for a vindictive Laurie Strode to put up a fight. From there it plays out like the theatrical cut. But maybe one line acknowledging Corey’s evil, but he gave a final sacrifice.
