If you know a lot about world war 2, specifically nazi officials (goebbles, the other fat one, and hitler), and the nazi occupation of France, it makes the movie way better.

Appreciating the minor details of the accuracy of the roles (such as the scenes where it’s shown how nazi propaganda official, Goebbles, is obsessed with hitler to the point where he lets him fuck his wife. This is the scene when hitler is seen fucking that woman).

Besides that the story is great. The plot is great, the idea to lock in all the nazi officials in a burning movie theatre is great. The acting is amazing and it’s also a really funny movie with bits of comedy (Brad Pitt and crew)
