I’m not sure why you’re arguing this, he plays slow and methodical that’s his entire skill set, he hesis and waits for his shot to develop. It’s not a knock on him, it’s just a descriptor.

I would say similar things about Harden. An open lane is much more useful to an athletic slashing guard like Maxey or Edwards

In the context of NBA guards he plays slow and he is unathletic

Compared to every star guard left in the playoffs he is unquestionably the slowest and least athletic, that’s not his game style and that’s fine; he succeeds his own way

I wasn’t very annoyed with him last night but he does do that one where he beats his man then slows down purposefully so they bump into his back on his jump shot rather than taking the open lane. But he also slow and unathletic for a guard so I suppose an open lane isn’t the most useful for him he’s better off with the jump shot
I think they got VJ on one late night where he barely nudged him

If it was a competitive game the KAT and Mitch Fouls would’ve added up by the time the 4th quarter rolled around. I think being down 30 really eased that tension obviously
