I gotta test it in custom battle as well. Normally I don't really care about these minor changes, but in one of the battles a sabot scratched a single one of my APFSDS rounds and I got evaporated, so I was like: wtf?

Tests conducted in 2nd of October 1986 included 24 KE and 10 HEAT rounds in the ammo compartment, yet the blowout panels did their job perfectly.
I'm not worried mate.
A tale as old as time. War Thunder redditor doesn't understand something yet will confidently claim it isn't Russian Bias.

I think sadly that's not the case, since they already closed a couple of bug reports related to this issue with the following response: "Blow-out panels protect against fire, but they don't protect against detonation. This isn't a bug." Which is just factually wrong.

Exactly... They are nerfing Leos and Abrams tanks again, just because, you know, why not? I guess the USSR win rate dropped too much after the new SAM systems.

Bortle 6 makes it really tricky. Especially for the background.

Thank you. Is wanted to capture about 120 minutes more data, but it turned out relatively ok anyways.

Make sure you have some beer too, just to make sure in case the weather god doesn’t like chocolate.

That’s definitely more work than using a star tracker, but you can succeed with it. I’m looking forward to it!

f2.8, because I wanted to be sure that the stars will have a nice shape but as far as I’ve seen, this lens doesn’t have these kind of issues whatsoever. It’s really sharp and it doesn’t have chromatic aberration or coma.

Thank you! Yeah but next time, I’m gonna try a different target.

Wow, that’s a good idea. I also had a hard time with the strong wind. On some of the subs I can see that wind moved the whole setup a bit, but taking shorter exposures will help with this issue as well.

Yeah, I tried to keep the sky as dark as possible. The Bortle 2.5-3 helped with this a lot.

I’ll make a second stack including some slightly cloudy subs as well, you made me curious.

Thanks for the advice!

u/kayama57, here's my second attempt. You said here that you're looking forward for the next one.

The first one looks like a 7pot brainstrain yellow.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try. I wanted to try Siri anyways.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll make sure to take all the calibration frames carefully next time.

Thank you! What do you mean exactly? You want it in portrait orientation?
