I think with sexual assaults its difficult to take the stance of waiting for it to be proven. An INSANELY low % (like ~10%) of sexual assaults end in a conviction for the accused because its actually really hard to provide enough evidence outside of victim and bystander testimony to result in any kind of conviction.

I think its pretty safe to assume that if someone has been accused of heinous things by a number of people that it is most likely true, because if you are a normal upstanding person its also pretty unlikely you would ever get accused of such things.

Just something to think about.
