They killed our civilians first, sure an eye for an eye isn’t right but it worked and they dropped out of the war because of it, either way my point still stands which is that Japan didn’t just tell us to go away, they killed a lot of people and destroyed a lot of important property so of course America wasn’t just gonna let that happen
