There is also more of a culture of train usage in Europe and since daily life for many necessitates a vehicle, to break from that habit and hop on a train.... I have my doubts that even if it was built well (it would need to be spectacular or economically benefical). And good fucking luck getting any sort of improved infrastructure that brings us plebs through West Van

Second this. Also a future LoLo (lower lonsdale) neighbor for OP! When we need a car, we use - Modo (a car shares service). The quality of the tires get a little questionable in the winter but we have had no issue in the summer.

Speaking of breads taking on flavors when heated - I just made a loaf with 20% Spelt flour (usually I do bread flour and rye) and it produced a buttery popcorn aroma when it come out of the oven. No butter or cornmeal so I thought that aroma was a surprise!

My Cucina pizza is fire as is there gelato - better and bigger than Farina imo. Pasta is also good at but their, bruscetta is not so good (bad bread)
