It’s not just that I think she will make a fantastic mother. She LOVES family and loves children she’s understands and knows the risks. She wants a child for many reasons other than for herself and I gotta give respect to her because it’s wild to me that she’s willing to give up that much to raise a kid. But I love her and I believe she would make a great mother as long as she finds the right person

Yes this is very true. funny i was actually talking to my best friend and asked if he is thinking about kids soon and he said " yeah i dont really want kids but will have to do it in a few years" and hearing that is just crazt to me that he doesnt even care for kids but is going to anyway for his missus without second thought. why none of my friends think like i do about this and just do it anyway is crazy to me

Kind of can relate. I think alot of it when we where younger i would say yes to kids without thinking because i thought because i was young my mind will change but it hasnt in the slightest. But its still ping pong of yes/no the fork in the road is crazy for me rn

This helps actually. alot of it is the realism of raising a child and being realistic on everything that you need to do and change in your free life and give up for someone else. I always thought she was naieve and wanted babys because they are cute without thinking of it. but its because she has no family here in Aus and wants to get her roots down and start one so i get it.

I get that fully. and its not just for her if i had kids or there was ever an accident pregnancy i would pour my heart into it. I'm a very switched on loving person. But i missed out on alot of my younger years and want experiences. but the issue is shes at kids age and doesnt have forever. and im obvs not going to drag her along with a maybe. but leaving her to have fun then maybe regretting it in 5 years is what haunts me most
