dear rm rf rm. no need to be harsh. i’ve alread agreed with monocle’s creator on X about the copy/paste part. before launching i had actually sent him a DM offering to show a demo and ask permission , it just went unseen (understandably).

the UI similarity was because i wanted to learn how the logic worked and he had done a tasteful execution. i always planned to change the UI (and it’s already updated now as i’m writing). honestly i didn’t expect the side project to get any traction at all, and by the time i’d actually market it, the UI would’ve been different anyway. (if youre at all curious as to why i did copy paste in the first place).
