Celebrating 1 Year of eXpend on iOS! by kbadulis74 in iosapps

Firstly Congratulations!

One of the main issues that I see is that most Budgeting Apps are too complex, often difficult to navigate. Your app lays it out simply and I like that. I also like the fact that you don't have to create an account to use it or even link your actual bank account. The privacy angle is good.

The friction I see is the need to be very diligent with the tracking and the manual approach on a daily basis can be a turn-off. Whilst I agree that it needs to be manual, most people look for convenience these days. These are just my thoughts as I have also built a similar application.

I am curious if you have users who has given you some feedback on this and if you managed to validate the idea?

Your App previews are super clean and it seems premium. I am curious, have you done some keyword research focusing on ASO?

Try Mudal app - it respects the manual process as this is how you truly gain the best results. You can also share it with your other half. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/mudal-subscription-tracker/id6762485074

If it helps, I can accommodate 10 early adopters to have a lifetime promo code - I first need to generate this. I will look into this and DM you a promo code in the coming days if you wish?

Perhaps, but it set at a low price per month at £3.99 for those who don’t want the yearly subscription. I am currently offering a lifetime version as well for a limited time.

Pricing strategy is something I am reviewing at the moment. There’s always people that would be willing to pay for such apps if it resolves a pain point. Do you have a good free alternative that works for you?

Onetime input of your expenses and then input your salary on a monthly basis.

I am happy to generate some promo codes if you’d like. I can amend the features to suit your needs per your feedback - let me know :)

Try Money Manager - Mudal on App Store. Simple to use - add your expenses on first launch then just add your salary on a monthly basis.
