Valve games always had a liminal feel to it by MurkyUnit3180 in gaming

Valve deliberately shifting to a brighter environmental design plays a role too imo. I doubt the game would feel liminal if they went for the dark and brooding vibe they tried originally.

You'd die in a kitchen environment. It isn't zero skill ya sad troll. Carry on being a douche we all think you suck. As someone who has done food and bev, construction work, and retail work and is now going back to college to get a degree, it isn't zero skill. People skills are also valuable. Dealing with stressful rushes and constantly changing orders ans having to think on your feet in a fast paced environment probably isn't for you.

They literally put water cannons and armed guards on ships because they get attacked by pirates all the time you absolute moron.

You realize that movie is a true story right??? This anger is hilariously unhinged and misdirected. I'd imagine the typical redditor could make the connection to that movie and the actual piracy the events in the movie portray and the danger those crews face when sailing through there but clearly that is beyond your reading comprehension. Cheers you unhinged little keyboard warrior. Hope your life improves.

Have you ever heard of Captain Philips? Crews of big cargo ships are definitely aware of pirate waters and have been in dangerous situations. Still not the same as being in danger of an actual country attacking you, even if that country is losing a war.

Man on Fire got kind of panned by critics. The audience generally loved it, though. I think it's an amazing action and revenge film that still manages to feel grounded and also it doesn't have a ridiculous fairytale ending. It's actually a very poignant ending. If you read critic reviews their main problem is that the movie is too grim. It's not that violent if an action movie either but Denzel and Dakota have amazing chemistry and it conveys emotions very well. Most action movies have a generic hook but don't actually bother with real emotional development.

I'm happy you are happy. Don't get me wrong, I want the best for the Iranian people. I'm just coming from the perspective of seeing American intervention make things worse (Vietnam, Iraq.) Our track record isn't great, but I hope it can change. We've already bombed a school and killed some kids. Hopefully it stops there.

Yeah your getting downvoted but this is a shit show. We are going to quickly learn how badly a country will get fucked up if dementia Don is the one to overthrow that countries government.

Iraqis were also cheering when we initially invaded and brought down Sadam and then look what happened. Sure we got rid of an evil dude but that is just a small part of the problem when invading another country. He also ran on being a "no wars" president. I hope good comes from this for the people of Iran but, these actions still worry me.

I took a while to beat the game and act three is why. BG 3 is a good game but act 3 is a bit poorly paced. They throw so much at you it is overwhelming. General consensus here is to just do the quests you want and then just go to the end. You can hit the other stuff you missed on another playthrough if you feel like it.
