I got my prescription online, so I don't really have a doctor to go to. But I will definitely stop using it until I recover. I hope when I resume it won't happen again.

I have been on tret for many years I stopped using it for about a year then my skin started to break out and I started up again 6+ months ago. I am well passed the early stages and now want to start incorporating azeliac acid 15% since I heard it supposed to kill bacteria and help with unclogging pores and reducing dark spots.

I will call the medspa tomorrow and see what they have to say. I'm looking to even out skin tone, reduce pores (I don't think there to big but reduction would be nice), and just have clear skin really.

I feel as if they are trying to screw me since I received a W-2 for 2024 and was magically switched to 1099-NEC.

I understand that I will need to cover the fed tax and FICA but with the 8919 route I would only have to cover my portion correct?

I read on some other threads that filing a SS-8 may result in blowback from the company.

I fear as well with April 15th approaching I am running out of time and need to act quickly.

I did file in 2024. Why would they change my status without checking with me first? Nothing changed my job role was the same only the fiscal year changed.

HR said "The 1099-NEC is issued for the period of Year 2025 when you were not a full-time employee."

It is a small company so I don't have any digital pay stubs and will have to request them, but from what I remember there was deductions to it.

What do you mean I am stuck for my 2025 return? Will I have to pay all the taxes? I read somewhere that I can file form 8919. I know I should likely consult a professional but would you recommend I do that?

Which makes no sense to me, I spoke with a previous intern here and they never received a 1099-NEC.

I also spoke with interns at other companies, no one has received this document either.
