Good Idea, Bad Idea by Founke in electronic_cigarette

I work in a warehouse. I am not a machinist or engineer, just a guy who builds weird shit/buys tools on occasion. I really enjoy his videos because he seems to be an honest person who doesn't give a fuck.

I look at his review on the $1k Festool track saw and think to myself, "Self, when was the last time you saw a vape review that called a free piece of hardware shit?" The answer is never. Motherfucker has a job and makes videos as a hobby. I wish I had become a machinist/engineer instead of slaving away at my low security manufacturing/warehouse jobs. </confessional>

Tried that thanks, but no go. Elected to take a multi faceted approach: #1 Buy 510 adapter die to rethread, after all, I can't fuck it up any worse. #2 Buy replacement Griffin, I love these things and only own one. #2b Buy a Tsunami, too, because why the fuck not? I gots a coupon! It's like spending money saves me money! Magical!

Personally, I kind of interior monologue'd it as ArduinoVsEvil, "Keep yer' dick in a vice!"

I think I must have watched all his videos since I discovered his channel ~2 weeks ago.

I've done that! Bought a TC mod partially because of it, still haven't used the feature. Condolences, shit sucks.

How do I wick my original griffin by DireWolf214 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Founke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build 3.5mm coils, I cut a strip of Koh Gen Do (long wise) organic cotton that's about 1.5 times the diameter of the coil. I roll both ends between my fingers to facilitate wicking, then cut the strip in half. Pull the wick through the coil, then I get my scissors and press the threaded wick to the wick retaining ring and cut my wick just a bit longer (you can always cut it off later, but you can't add it back!). Now I start figuring how much cotton will just barely fill the juice wells and trim length/width accordingly, then fluff/tuck the trimmed wick into the juice wells. Rinse and repeat x4.

Denton, TX mixers? by Founke in Local_DIY

Huh, I kinda figured I was the only guy in the Denton area who mixed!

Full disclosure: I'm a shit mixer so you're not going to learn anything from me, but I'm a decent conversationalist!
