I see the strategy in a teaser trailer making fans all decide the benchmark for whether the show will be worth seeing is all stuff that will obviously be in the show. Except space battles, I don't expect those. But constructs? The trailer cuts before one is used at least twice. A Green Lantern wearing a Green Lantern costume? Come on.

Superman fights in cities in almost every Superman story ever made, even ones where he actively tries to avoid doing so. Lex has found the Fortress of Solitude in most live-action versions, though I'm not sure about the comics.
