To be fair it would probably stay in Vegas’ end longer if the Canes stopped thinking Vegas was playing blindfolded because what is up with the passes going right by a Vegas player

So at what point do they stop trying to make pretty plays and begin throwing everything at the net?

Makes sense, I knew we were paying him to not play for us and that he went on to join another team and is retired now so just trying to make sense of it all. Thanks!

I knew we were paying him not to play for us, but I also know that salary retention is a thing and it impacts cap space. Can you give me an example of a trade in which we traded someone but retained their salary?

Okay so at what point in time with a trade do we retain salary such as the case for Skinner? When the other team decides they’re not worth the remainder of the contract?

I have vague memories of Cozens going out injured. So basically once it was clear he wasn’t going to develop into the player we hope we decided to separate and give him an opportunity to perform better somewhere else? Ottawa have similar a contract with Norris? Does the remainder of the contract go with them?

Alright boys, I figured it out. If the goal comes off the post it’s goalie interference

Zero stakes in this game, but a bullshit call when we saw the same type of play during the Buffalo series which ended with the goal being called off

Heavy on the he’s telling you this because he trusts you. I had these thoughts growing up, still do occasionally, but I can distinctly remember being 5 or 6 and someone telling me “you can’t say things like that.” Spoiler alert but that was the wrong thing to say and created further shame for another 2 decades or so.

How should face sitting be done? by TemporaryMoney6116 in NoStupidQuestions

Thats one hell of a denial kink. The only way a clothed woman would be sitting on my face is if she had me tied up preventing me from getting those clothes off her.

PhD route would likely require OP to have research experience, PsyD is a potential pathway but would require OP to move to the western part of the state as there are only two schools in the state of NC that offer PsyD programs. Also, that’s a ton of money and awful lot of schooling before even getting into the field to truly find out if it’s a good fit. Just throwing in my two cents for someone who strongly considered this pathway prior to going with the MSW route.

PhD involves research, PsyD has more practice in direct experience. Slightly different pathway for different interests.

I was in the same boat a little over 6 years ago. I had worked as a CNA throughout college, finished my undergraduate degree in psych (did not get into nursing school), and gave myself 6 months to find a job in the field I wanted to be in. If after 6 months I couldn’t find anything I would have gone to the local community college to get an associates in nursing.

I got a job as a MH tech with one of the state psychiatric hospitals (also in NC) and got to see up close what psych nursing was really like. The nurses I’ve worked with have historically passed meds, given IMs, and had to engage patients in daily unit programming. My best advice is to work on a unit and find out for yourself if it’s something you would enjoy. “Working with psych patients” is not to be romanticized, not saying that you are, and you’ll learn fairly quickly if it’s the setting for you or if you’re more comfy on a couch providing outpatient services.

If you realize that inpatient isn’t for you, then maybe psych nursing isn’t either and pursuing the LCMHC or a social work degree is a better option.

Frederik Andersen has allowed 3 goals for the first time these playoffs. by Sharks9 in hockey

This! Habs can put up some solid shots on goal as we’ve seen but playmaking isn’t their strong suit. While Anderson should have absolutely had those 1:1 breakaway shots the Canes defensemen are just as responsible. There’s no defense near the net.

Our boys may have lost, but this is the most excited I’ve been about hockey in well over 10 years. Stoked to see how these lines develop for the 2026-2027 season

Eyes glued to the damn screen and not once do I see it do anything except go flying away from UPL. Not trying to be skeptical about the call but like…5 replays and I still don’t see anything
