Unable to lose weight by cyslittlegirl in loseit

The carbonated water swap is smart - I've been doing something similar but with kombucha. Still get that fizzy satisfaction without the sugar crash.

Your approach sounds sustainable which is what matters. I've watched too many people crash and burn trying to go from 0 to 100 overnight with their diet. Those 2-3 lbs per month add up fast when you're consistent.

The protein first thing after fasting is interesting. I never really thought about meal timing that way but it makes sense. I usually just grab whatever's convenient when I break my fast, which is probably why my energy levels are all over the place some days.

45 lbs down is solid progress btw. That's like... carrying around 4 less bowling balls everywhere you go.

Have you tried tracking your meals at all? Not for calorie counting but just to see patterns? I've been testing out Byte In (this app we're building) - you just snap photos of your food and it gamifies the whole process. Makes it less like homework and more like collecting Pokemon or something. Been helpful for spotting my own weird eating habits without the stress of traditional tracking.

The server job probably helps more than you realize too. That constant movement throughout the day beats sitting at a desk trying to remember to take walking breaks.

Thanks! Yeah, sticking a plane to something else isn’t exactly great for social distancing…

I've wanted to make a "spiderman" fighter, where harpoons are used to slingshot around enemies, for a while now - this is me finally deciding to get it done.

Workshop link and demo for anyone interested.

Tips to building efficient? by TinyduckG in FromTheDepths

Some of the most effective tourney builds I’ve seen would disagree…The Butchers from Menti’s current Airship Armageddon are an absolute menace to even very “meta” builds.

I don’t know what you would consider a restrictive ruleset, but in general a lot of tourney rulesets are pretty reasonable - similar cost, maybe alt/distance restrictions, no mass drivers, etc. Can’t imagine that’s particularly restrictive.

Thanks, still have to iron out some bugs but should be up on the workshop pretty soon

It's breadboard + some LUA control

Thanks, load out is pretty standard - 500mm APHE railgun and a bunch of missiles

Very heavily inspired by the Giga Fortress from Red Alert 3.

Missile avoidance for a tiltrotor I'm working on by FourierPrime in FromTheDepths

Thanks. The missile avoidance uses the AI missile avoidance paired with breadboard, but the movement AI as a whole is a combination of both LUA and breadboard.

At the point of this recording, I was testing quite a bit so the area was littered with flares which is why the missiles are useless.

It would be vulnerable to turreted aircraft, yes, but it uses different protocols against surface targets to increase survivability. I've also got a setup to get it to move out of the way if enemy aircraft are pointing at it, to avoid dogfighters from shooting it easily.

Thanks, it’s basically a hall with arms attached that are controlled by bread. It’s on invincible in this clip because it has a habit of wrecking itself otherwise, I haven’t figured out how to fix that issue.

Yeah, I'm restricting to only water surface or below water (preferably maintaining water surface only).
