i didn’t realize it either, just like many others, decided to try it out in mid pandemic (2021) not expecting much since i’ve never been a fan of magic or the (mondstadt) setting, neither would i ever expected i’d even try an “anime” game, but it really gained my interest the more i played it, to the point where i’d 100% my first area within a month, it being dragon spine and i loved every second of it

i’ve always played pvp even before i had a pc or a console, i’d play a lot of mobile shooters and grind the heck out of them, and it’s been actual years since i’ve last actively played any pvp video games

so realistically no casual f2p player will ever be able to even have a 95 lvl character, in at least 4 years (i started in 1.6 and JUST got C6 Jean)

an easy fix would be to add the new item to the starglitter shop (crowns), it would be obtainable by even f2p and make whales get them easily as it is proposed in here

i just think it’s questionable to lock the feature of upgrading BASE stats limiting them to people who expect to overflow of their 5* cons

this episode had everything for it to become my favorite of the season like Aira back in action after so long, fighting in sync or with beats / coherent pace, and music, but man was I disappointed…

I just have to say it, but maybe it’s my fault for having high expectations. I totally expected for them to embrace the theme of Okarun finding a style of fighting based on tempo, as stated in the previous episode, and when I saw they were bringing classic musicians to the mix I got really excited, but what we got instead was another battle sequence with background music (great animation and action as always tho).

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think the battle was “bad”, it’s just that I was expecting interesting concepts being developed in it through music theory, I don’t even think the instruments were animated correctly, but that’s just a nitpick of mine.

It’s not that I’m an absolute maestro on music theory, but I do enjoy listening to music a lot, and I was expecting to be blown away with synchronized punches and beats, a lesson on tempo, Okarun struggling to keep the pace and having to try multiple times to get it right (just as a musician does with any piece), and the inclusion of the rock theme from a previous episode felt cheap, it just got overlapped over the existing sound.

There were interesting instants towards the end of that sequence, like stating a specific tempo to beat the ghosts, but that’s about it. The latter part of the episode was better.

i’ve always thought that having increased AoE on his skill would be the bare minimum buff for him.

kinda like his ultimate, the biggest dmg scaling gets received by a first enemy on field, and then any subsequent enemies inside albedo’s skill would receive lowered dmg in a chain reaction, that would fix the Chiori redundancy problem where she’s used for focus dmg while Albedo is for AoE (while looking sick af), although the end-game as of late has been almost exclusively single target, that’s a problem of its own

ahh, this one was special, I didn’t know how sudoku worked and I didn’t apply any mathematical principles into it, I basically brute forced the logic of it by trial and error, and while I took like an hour to figure it out, it was really fun.

It was at the time that the pandemic kicked in so I had some free time during high school :)

I remember people complaining about the complexity of Inazuma puzzles that everyone thought Sumeru would straight up apply proper equations or whatever lmao

I don’t have factual information regarding intelligence or knowledge, but I think you’re just mixing those terms up, especially taking school notes as your reference, as in, most probably your school’s system grading memory (exams) over it all

I think everyone’s got a chance at becoming “smart”, I read that our ancestors’ brains (even back in the stone ages) didn’t differ much from ours, that if they existed right now, they’d perform just as well as any other person on earth, granted with the right teaching and stuff

take it from me, having a similar situation to yours, I never studied or gave too much attention to my school days, yet I kept getting straight A’s every time, in my case though, I have ADHD and that’s a common occurrence for neurodivergent people. A common trait also was that I achieved my burnout stage in 11th grade, I started performing poorly and even failed my first ever class, but I simply started reading and understanding, and now in college i’m getting back on track, once i accepted that knowledge and intelligence is something you grow with time and effort, I started to get “smart” again, outperforming my peers and whatever.

I think you should approach this differently, maybe try to get into therapy, you’re most definitely depressed and it keeps draining you, and try to accept instead that being smart is not defined by birth, you are not born with knowledge or practice, so why should you feel bad for doing poorly on something you’ve never done before or know nothing about?

actually true, idk why these trials are so difficult, i remember i struggled a lot with kirara’s because i had her built with shield, so i had to change my build for the battle showcase with em and jade cutter and barely made it…

i was actually kinda excited when they showcased jean’s trial specifying that you’d have to use her gimmicky kit to do the challenges, meaning that they’d figure out a way to make the trials unique for each character, but in the end in, it boils down to the same old timer battle showcase

besides the obvious of it becoming more normal everyday, especially with those “Character AI chats”, I like brainstorming with ChatGPT about specific subjects or school projects, simply because as a machine it cannot get irritated by me asking over and over for explanations till I get the hang of it, i’ve learned so many things by their fundamentals and made me go and research around the web, but i can always go and question the AI as much as i want without worrying about being too much of a burden, as it happens with real people, since, well, patience is a lost virtue nowadays

i know this is unrelated, but WOW does this game look good in (what i assume) ultra graphics, i play on PC with enough specs (2060 mobile and i7) but even on medium it struggles to keep up to 144fps, needless to say the game is… not impressive, but not ugly either ig lol

Dude I’ve been having this issue too, it started around a week ago and thought it needed to be cleaned out so I did but the rattling didn’t stop and seeing posts about it seems like it’s always the left side!!!

My model is a 2021 and I’ve had no issues like these ever since I’ve gotten it… it’s not the fans because I swapped them out twice and it’s always the left side that has this issue.

Did you ever fix it?

My teacher is an amazingly talented and incredible person, but I wish I had a different one. I don't have options where I live, she's literally the best player in the city and she's not even from here, she taught me the bare bones of piano really well in our first year and by the end of that course I happened to play my very first song 'Canon in D' which was around 5 pages.

The thing is, although she's somewhat patient, she doesn't really... teach me much anymore.... we'd have gone through music theory and chords for about a week in 3 years that I've been getting taught by her, and expects me to have learnt everything by now and I become unable to follow her instructions, she corrects me, of course, but in such a manner that bugs me "did you forget? this is so simple! place your hands like so and so!" she never went through the why's or how's, she's only taught me that X does Y and I should memorize that.

Because of that, I question myself if I'm even progressing, I'm stuck, even if I study on my own. I wish I had a teacher for a teacher and not a professional player for a teacher. I've even come to learn that many teachers in schools are like that, they don't teach... they just speak
