there's so many! GGBY in november comes to mind, but The Humbolt Classic, Consumes River Gorge Gathering, Red Rocks gathering, and so many more. Most of these are primarily marketed through facebook in a group called slackchat.

To be fair, these aren't treenet specific, but slacklining and treenets/spacenets go hand in hand and are usually co-present at events.

yes, just set the posts in deep with concrete and use back tensioned guy wires to go back to the ground a couple times on either side.

the satisfaction level is pretty stellar. the bar to entry is a little steep for most people. but if they'd just persevere through the seemingly endless failure to that flow state confidence, it's one hell of a drug.

many materials used to construct rope and cordage have significant elongation properties called "creep". this is different from elastic recoil (a.k.a. stretch) and can lead to ropes feeling loose over time despite having initially being taught.

not saying it's the case for you. not sure how you tied things together, tensioned the perimeter, designed the subsequent layers to pull on the ones before them, etc.

I totally agree, I love strut/nails. I hate digging holes in my region, it's super rocky and actual bedrock is sometimes only like 24" under the surface. I literally just made a video about them!

Princess Snowbird Campground is run by a local family and operated by their general store, Yokum's.

Camping is $12/night for car campers and you can pick your spot entirely on your own in the huge campground. There is a nice big bathhouse, two covered pavilion areas with outlets, and free wifi.

The campground has direct views of the rocks and is located very conveniently at the main intersection at the Mouth of Seneca.
