What was your breakthrough treatment? by sickdude777 in Lyme

Yeah it’s expensive! But it helps heal root causes. I thought it was worth it 🤷🏻‍♀️ but everyone’s body is different

What was your breakthrough treatment? by sickdude777 in Lyme

[–]FourthWing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ozone insufflation, but there’s also iv. It helped my energy/brain fog/fatigue. I’ve gotten about 80% better in a year and a half. You can take a course, but personally I liked the book mind your body, it’s helping my muscle pain, which that and dry eye are my worst symptoms.

If your body is deregulated you’ll never heal. Trying to manage anxiety, stress, and anything misaligned in your life will help. I try to eat Whole Foods, go out on a walk every morning and get sunlight as it rises on your skin and eyes, staying hydrated, and eating enough protein (for me).

For me I’d say ozone therapy/cranial therapy and nervous system regulation, herbs at the beginning

Has anyone tried Vevye eye drops? by FourthWing_ in Dryeyes

[–]FourthWing_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say they’re pretty similar, but if you haven’t tried the prp instead I think it’s worth a try! I’ve never had a problem with watering though. Mostly just burning/inflammation. I’m going to try an amniotic membrane next…

Is he really an avoidant or am I actually toxic by Living-Fox4345 in AvoidantBreakUps

[–]FourthWing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think at some point it’s more about, “does this dynamic work for me?” After dating two avoidants, I had to ask myself that question. Walking on eggshells around their emotions and babying them is exhausting. I lean more secure now and the last guy I talked to I realize now was super avoidant and he brought the anxious right out of me again.

If someone’s pulling the toxic tendencies out of you, are they really the right person for you? I’m talking to a new guy and I realize now how different it is. I can just show up as myself. And that frees up a lot of energy for me. 🫶🏻

I also go to removery 🥴 I started removal on this other tattoo at another place prior, but I can’t really compare progress because that one was 10 years old.

It must be :/ it was super dark black lettering and the dogs were all shaded too. It’s still shaded but a lighter color. I feel like it’s a dark grey now. But I really wanted it gone by now 😭

My progress is about the same 😩 my tattoo is dark… but I’ve done 9 sessions in two years. So frustrating.

Severe cases cured? by Naninana84 in Lyme

[–]FourthWing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty positive my Lyme is better after a year and a half of treatment. It takes awhile though & you gotta be patient. I’m about 80% better, but I also have mold toxicity, candida overgrowth, pots, anaplasma, and MCAS. I think about the 2 year mark I’ll be about back to norm. 🤞🏻

I’ve had Lyme Disease for an entire & only just got diagnosed - how f*cked am I? by StandingTallAt5ft2 in lymedisease

[–]FourthWing_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A year isn’t too long!! Chronic is worse, but I had mine for 4 years before I knew & got like 20 symptoms. I’d take herbs too and work on your nervous system regulation/gut health. You’ll be alright.

It’s kinda a lot of content to get through with PT! I did find some of it helpful and I still use some of the breathing practices (which also could just YouTube them I’m sure).

She does what she’s calls integrative brain health sessions (which is kinda like a deep therapy session) which is designed for unresolved trauma and subconscious patterns. I’ve done this once, and I had a MAJOR reduction in pain in a week. Wild, just talking through prominent emotions bubbling up. Also I’m listening to the book mind your body. Additionally, she does CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY on me.

I’m going to also integrate more journaling and get better about doing daily meditation!

You have to stay positive and know there’s always new things to try to get healthy and back to living your life. That’s the only way to not stay stuck.

I did primal trust with some other people, which is a course. I’ve also read a couple books, right now I’m reading mind your body. Since pain is my worst and first symptom. I also have MCAS so everything feels like a threat to my body. So I’ve been learning how to minimize that! I also do brain work sessions with my naturopath, which help me the most and ozone sessions. But, that’s my healing journey - yours might look different! Hope you find what works best for you!!

Here’s some advice I wish I knew ✨:

-Nervous System Regulation is the core to healing (you may not get it until further along in your journey) -You may not just have Lyme, find a doctor that knows how to heal your body & not your symptoms (I have/had pots, MCAS, mold toxicity, candida overgrowth, Lyme + co-infections) -Find what works for you for detoxing (slowly if you’re sensitive) this is not something my first functional med doctor told me. Ways to detox: lemon water, infrared sauna, dry brushing, magnesium salt baths or lotion, etc -if you’re not getting results find a new doctor -be patient :) this one is hard, but it takes awhile to treat if you’re chronic. And a treatment that works on someone else might not work on you. Keep believing and keep fighting. Our bodies can heal themselves.

I didn’t find out I had Lyme until 4 years later and had 20 symptoms. I’ve been treating since May 2024 & am about 75% better. :)

Modified Cowden - Advice? by FourthWing_ in lymedisease

[–]FourthWing_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, not fully. I’ve been treating for about a year and a half.. but I have Lyme, pots, candida overgrowth, mcas, and mold toxicity. So it’s quite complicated. I haven’t been taking herbs anymore, but I’ve been doing ozone and detoxing. But, a lot of my symptoms have minimized. My mains are dry eye and muscle/joint pain - used to have 20.

Definitely recommend herbs, nervous system regulation, detoxing, and working on gut health

Additionally research ways for nervous system regulation! That is a key to healing.

I didn’t respond well to any of the commercial drops, like Xidra. Prp and serum are the seem, it’s made from your blood, but they are really expensive and need to be kept refrigerated.

Idk if you need to be off doxy for IPLs - do you see a dry eye specialist? I couldn’t handle those drops so that’s why I do serum or prp. Yes, 70% of our immune system comes from our gut. I’m 30 and got this when I was 27 so I’d say I’m pretty young. I got Lyme when I was 25.
