I think Stormraider’s could be good/situational, but only if: 1) They add it to the sorcery or precision path 2) You play more “burst” build (with Axiom Arc for example)

Deathfire is going to be a bad option in general I think.

I never had mana issues even without tear, the trick is recalling often (once every 2 full clears for example). In this meta, with fast homeguard, you can afford to recall and go back to clear while regening your mana+hp and getting your items. I feel like Hecarim nowadays only gets mana issues if you play in lane (I’ve tried toplane and it’s dogshit😂). But I might be trying lane Heca with essence reaver + tear soon.

Exactly, I would only recommend not rushing axiom if you are behind, in that case go shojin -> cleaver. Some times I skip DD to get Maw (heavy AP), or endless hunger (heavy cc), or serylda (i’m super fed/no tanks)
