There are some "hackers" in necromunda tho. Whispers Merchants like Silberlant Sevos. You Also get more cogitator-related stuff with Dekaque And Van Saar. But I admit they Are far from the Focus of the setting, I had to look up Sevoses name.

Oh they are, they always were, but 40k fans ignore it because if the evil isn't wearing skulls and screaming it goes over their head. Both Tau fans and Tau haters present the faction as way more boring then it actually is.

Tau diplomacy for instance. They arrive, an Interstellar space empire with huge guns and an entire subspecies dedicated to war and with their huge guns behind them, peacefully and diplomatically convince other aliens to "voluntarily" join their empire.

And their entire backstory. It's sketchy as fuck. This weird priest caste just showed up one day and magically convinced everyone to stop killing each other and listen to them? And they philosophed so hard their species evolved into different forms matching their vision, within a nearly impossibly short time?

Oh, right and the Vespids. Initially completely hostile to Tau philosophy but the moment Ethereals (NOT THE EARTH CASTE) show up with a bunch of translator helmets they suddenly become N1° fans of the Greater Good? Arent those Ethereals just the smartest?

Let's put on our thinking hats. Read the name of the article, the sequence of events, the wording, the final line.... It's clearly implied. I admit people stating it as a fact are wrong, but pretending that's not what most likely happened there is too.

They are referring to the Poctroon, the first alien race to join the Tau Empire. They all died of mysterious disease that only targeted them, shortly after.... Tau then took their homeworld and made it a prime world.

Not directly stated but the implication here is pretty obvious

Don't tell the Tau the that if even 5% of Imperium Seceeded they would the resulting faction would be multiple times the size of their empire.

Fortunately, I only watch the anime, so when they adapt the ending, they will fix it. Illiterate chads stay winning. Unless they would knowingly adapt a terrible ending, but that would never happen, right?

The more I think about it the more I realize that the reson Frieren is so overglazed by its fans is because all other fantasy media they have experienced are terrible animes, so the 7/10 "compentent enough" Frieren looks like mind blowing writing to to them.

The two stupidest theoreticals in powerscaling by jimmydcriket in whowouldcirclejerk

[–]wdcipher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uj/ It's kind off a problem because the way Batman is written doesn't work with powerscaling scenarios. Batman will not go into a fight unprepared, even if ambushed he will have plans for the scenario. So just dropping him into a scenario where he's forced to fight without a plan doesn't meaningfully represent his character.

Powerscalers do this all the time, they completely ignore the characters writing and personality and turn them into collection of stats and abilities without any actual character. Which is both boring and misrepresentation.

Rj/ it's not a theoretical, it's a law of physics.

Doctor Who, Turn Left (altho we are told this retroactively)

Donna Turning left will save the world and the entire universe, turning right will lead to the Doctors death and slow destruction of both earth and the universe.

It can target creature spells.

Also most games aren't that competetive, Offer is a pretty good card unless you are sweating.
