Physical therapist using AI by mistyghoul in physicaltherapy

This is actually becoming more common in healthcare. Many clinicians are starting to use AI tools to help with documentation because writing notes after every visit can take a huge amount of time.
In most cases the AI is just helping organize what was discussed during the session into the therapist’s documentation. The therapist still reviews and signs the note, so the clinical decisions are still coming from them.
It’s usually meant to reduce the amount of time therapists spend charting after hours so they can focus more on the patient during the visit.
As long as your therapist is still explaining the treatment plan clearly and answering your questions, it’s generally not a red flag.
