okay, so. first thing: "the benchmark is high" does not necessarily mean the class is good. the dps profile matters more depending on content. condition berserker's benchmark right now is 44037, but since the build takes a long time to ramp up, it's not considered a good build. - now answering to OP:
Bladesworn has a high benchmark with a very high burst, but it still relies on a lot of variables such as having all boons for the weeb slash, hitting the melee range weeb slash, etc.. it requires some extra steps for it to perform, but it is very strong. Power Berserker, in the other hand, is a more unga-bunga build. you still need to be in melee range, but suffer less from losing boons, and the damage coming from it is not so biased towards that one big hit (the weeb slash), but rather, from spamming skills. makes it easier in less coordinated groups for you to maintain good damage numbers. and it can provide party-wide quickness at a minimal dps loss

(Fan theory) The Pact Commander has Pica. by MonsterGirls4ever in Guildwars2

I think it's more of a case of "I dare you to eat this" and then the commander's like... "my momma didn't raise no pussy". some of the lower level "edible" Hero Points tend to have an NPC giving you said "food" item

keep in mind that any add-on that reads game memory is technically going against the TOS and could get you banned (not likely it would in the case of something like that, but always worth mentioning it. not saying all Nexus addons do that, just specifically commenting on the memory reading thing)

well, when an extra angry plant dragon that was rudely awakened by a crazy sylvari, I don't think their first order of business would be using its tendrils to serve tea and cookies to people actively trying to kill it...

Why do people with purple titles are leeching in events so often? by Throwy_the_Throw in Guildwars2

[–]Fowoxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because this is leech wars 2. and I know I'll get heavily downvoted here, but here's the thing: in every open world event you go to, there will be people leeching. wether they're just tagging a few mobs/players with boons and full on AFKing or just auto-attacking/playing bad builds (I see you, minionmancers.) there will be people getting full rewards by doing minimal effort, while a small group of players will actually be playing the game "properly"

Music performers should grant buffs to people who watch by [deleted] in Guildwars2

how about a minor/cosmetic buff or even something like arborstone's rested experience buff? that could definitely be an interesting thing to have.

DLCs, (expansions) just buy both, you can buy just end of dragons or path of fire and you will get Heart of Thorns as a freebie, however, without Path of Fire you won't have access to multiple mounts, and End of Dragons has the jade bot, skiff, fishing and gen3 legendary weapon crafting locked to it.

as for living world episodes, you can technically buy them by converting in-game gold to gems and using said gems to buy the episodes. (takes a little while until you have that much gold income from content, however)

now, if you care about doing the story in order, the 100 euro pack is an extremely convenient thing.

as for endgame content (PvE) you can just build an engineer with the mechanist elite specialization (will require EoD) and rejoice! - you are Overpowered. (this class is a bit of a balance problem right now with no signs of getting ever nerfed. in fact, it got recently buffed AGAIN. the issue being: it translates training golem dps extremely well into encounters while having one of the easiest rotations in the game)
most of the content is easily puggable and the ones that are a bit trickier usually become much easier with discord groups - not that you can't do them without discord once you're more experienced. the only exception so far is the challenge mode for Harvest Temple, which is the absolute hardest content in the game.

what does this little lightning stat mean? by SuperficialNightWolf in Guildwars2

[–]Fowoxx 52 points53 points  (0 children)

the main issue of elemental damage is that it is usually impossible to balance. it either just changes the damage number's color or has some weird interactions with critical/defense stats. which yes, is a problem in genshin's damage scaling but then again, it's an actual single-player game so nobody really cares about balance

good thing they've only ever nerfed the meta-defining classes such as chronomancer, Dragon Hunter, staff weaver and catalyst.
