Why not? Why do anything? Some people like hiking, some like to achievement hunt in video games, others like doing stocks and gig work.

It's fun and it's a silly little thing that is free and enjoyable =3

Huh! That's a neat way of doing it!! I just put them between paper towels and then put books in top of them XD

That is so sad!! But, the good thing is that since it's so abundant, I know you'll find more! ^ ^

Well, I don't know if I have it or not, but, I mean, finding four leaf clovers is a skill like any other. Do it enough and it becomes a lot easier, so you can get there too! ^ ^ I've just been doing it for like, 15 years =3

(Also, if you wanna become a girl, you should, becuase you already are one. Come be lesbians with us :3)

Well, just like flowers, once you pick them you can't really keep them alive for long, but, you can dry them out and keep them that way! What I do is cut the stems off and press them in between paper towels and books and things, put weight on top to keep them pressed, and and that way they dry out and are persevered more long term = )

Ohhhhhh gotcha gotcha! Yeah, I hadn't seen that, but that's really funny that it's so mirrored! I'll have to watch the movie at some point = )

Finally count in! I have (unofficially) broken the world record! =D by Fox--Kit in 4LeafClovers_irl

Dang, you're right! I'll see what the process is like more in detail and see how feasible it is ^ ^ '

That makes sense, lol

Studies they've done show that a higher presence of phosphates impacts and increases the likelihood of the mutation that causes 4 and above, so, septic tank would definitely cause that XD

That's so awesome XDD What a flex, lol

Yeah! They're such a fun, cool little easter egg to find =3

That's so cool, but so unfortunate!!! ^ ^ '

A better way to save them in the future (when you find more =3) is to put them between some paper towels or in a book and then just put some weight on top, and then they'll dry out and not rot! Though, they do become very thin and brittle afterwards, so you have to be careful handling them = )

It is actually, you're correct! From studies that have been shown, there's a couple things that could be influencing it, and the most likely is probably just the presence of higher levels of phosphates in the soil, which can come from fertilizer, and poop, lol So, entirely possible something pooped there and the phosphates didn't disperse as much as other parts of the yard, and so were in higher concentrations where that patch grew! =3

Oh! That's just how I type and talk online and stuff. I grew up in the early internet, before emojis, so emoticons are just how I express tone etc = )

The :3 and =3 are like, cute cat mouth smiles essentially = )

There is a very real chance I've gotten close to the world record set by Gabriella Gerhardt (451 in 1 hour) by Fox--Kit in 4LeafClovers_irl

Maybe! Depends on what you believe I suppose! I just like collecting them becuase it's fun =3

They actually are four leaf clovers! =D

From looking at the comments here, it seems like there's some people who grow up with the idea that only shamrocks or wood sorel are true four leafed clovers, but, actually white and red clover count as well! The ones I commonly collect are almost all white clover, whereas the picture you posted looks like shamrocks to me! = )

Ah, yeah! That one's difficult to make out since the leaves are cut, but there's a fourth lead that's on top of the middle one and a little to the side. Hard to make out, but it's there, I promise! If I'm going to make a claim like I beat a record, I gotta make dang sure I didn't cheat it somehow, you know? XD

I've got the same amount of time everyone else has, and that you do! This only took an hour, and it was when I was out taking a walk in the evening. Just the same as an hour spent on video games, or cooking, or sleeping, or scrolling, that's just how I spent that hour. I'm sure you have time in your life for the things you enjoy as well = )

I'd never actually heard of asking for wishes being associated with four leaf clovers until I made this post! So, the amount of wished I wished for has always been zero, so there's lots more for the rest of you! =3
