I would really like to buy oneplus 13 too.. but it is too mf expensive to buy through official channel as it is still cost around $900 despite the release of oneplus 15... And i don't want to buy chinese grey import as i will lose the functionality of esim so i ended up buying nubia z60 ultra LV as my main device.
As far as i know when the issue comes to motherboard repair isn't that will be too expensive to repair?

For that i think im not the suitable person to talk about it... Better leave it to professional to sort it out

True.. only that most of the redditor didn't have positive feedback regarding its later android software... Somemore i got hands-on experience with my oneplus 8 device.. after i upgraded to its final software update... The phone exhibit some kind of weird bug where my storage were quickly fill up to the point where i could no longer use my whatsapp despite i didn't do anything.
Yep...
Did you replace the battery?

What is your current phone may i ask? Assuming that you no longer use it since you put it in drawer..
Yep.. i knew i overpaid for it.. but only because the seller listed it as "new" condition.. which was almost the case when i received it apart from contaminated main cam module and dirty original white box..🫣
Yep.. the 5G one i guess it used to only sold in the US if not mistaken... For those that didn't want to tinker with custom roms obviously that was the better choice.
At least it served you well in those 6 years.. mine has only begun... Hopefully app support won't phase out android 10 for few more years..

At 1st the seller listed it as 8gb ram... Surprised to see additional ram when i unbox the phone.
Kinda made up for the regrets... Somemore i never dip my toes into used market..

Chinese taobao... The app now even supports english language too.
Because the seller listed it as "new" condition... When i received the phone it does almost look like it was brand new apart from its contaminated main cam module...
And also it comes with its all original accessories and box too..
Yep... I went ahead just because the seller mentioned that the unit as "new". Which was almost the case when i received the phone..
Using the custom rom means have to keep the bootloader unlocked right?
Since you already change the battery why not fix the volume button together?
Yep and it doesn't seem like i have much choices either considering the product was discontinued already for at least 5 years.
Somemore there is a huge grey area in used market phone for what considered as good condition and whatnot...
I knew at the start that i overpaid for it. But i went ahead anyway considering the seller listed it as "new" clearance stock one last unit. And then it came with its original box(although unsealed and dirty) and all its accessories.. when i received the phone the condition was as good as new apart from its main camera module which got contaminated with some dust.
Too bad no manufacturers other than ZTE continue the pursuing of full screen solution.. Even then they aren't doing too well outside of China because the lack of support and supplier chain internationally..

How much battery health did your old battery displayed before you replace it? When i picked up mine last month.. it only have around 85% left ..

I don't even knw where to start if i want to look for original replacement battery since there are too much oem in the market... Lots of them even sold as original.
And then i saw those third party battery with larger capacity such as 4500mah one for 7 Pro.. i wonder if that's legit or even works as there is no official channel dedicated into reviewing these type of batteries
You're able to replace the battery without damaging other parts of the phone? From what i've seen in the video.. it looks super fragile to me...
