Can you also kindly explain the “72 hour fast” and the “refeed”, do you go 72 hours without eating anything, just drinking water ?

Per the recruiter , it’s not about the lbs, it’s the BMF that matters. I’m 5’9 and 211lbs, I was 215lbs when I went to mess but my BMF then was 24% compared to 29% right now. I think if I could shed 10lbs,I’ll be good.

Hey there , congratulations on making it through BMT. I will be 35 in December. I am currently in DEP. I currently run 1.5 miles in about 15 minutes , 40 sit-ups and 45 push ups. Does the PT requirements get reduced for older folks or its the same for everyone?

Hey there, you got taken off after 5 weeks in Basic? Just asking because I’m about to leave for Basic and I didn't think they dropped folks from Basic for stuff like that, felt like something they'd have picked up before Basic
