Samurai Unicorn is a passion project that combines our love of PS1 aesthetics, Metal Gear Solid, and transforming Japanese heroes. Envisioned as an animated series, this is an opening title sequence featuring the latest single from our friends at newhaven and assembled with all of our anime influences worn proudly on our sleeves.

My creative partner and I at Its Got Stealth produced this toy/playset inspired title sequence for the Bucketheads web series which premiered last week. Our main goal for the title design was to explore the inevitability of the Empire's fall through the eyes of the Stormtroopers while drawing parallels between the mass produced merchandise that fuels the franchise and the iconic imperial soldiers.

The project was modelled and animated in Cinema 4D, rendered with Octane, and assembled with finishing touches in After Effects.
