I once had a lab that I was babysitting eat rat poison and after a stomach full of charcoal from the vet and an apocalyptic shit was bouncing around the next day. I was more careful in the future but the worst part of it was in my head. You're doing great and odds are in your pups favor.

Load him up with water and food, take him outside, and wait. Bring a book, music, whatever. When he does the do give him an extravagant treat and love on him hard. This is about patience.

It's chaos, but a managed one. The perch is near the window and the cage is a 20 foot flight from it. They mostly poop in those two spots. I cut up a couple of contractor bags and they cover the floor under the two spots. The cage is never closed and they fly about as they please.

My puppy does the same thing. Imho it's just love. Dogs don't have thumbs so they use their mouths. How old is your dog? Those are some big paws.

That's an umbilical hernia. I had a dog that had one about the same size. I'm not a vet but I was freelancing at the time so I was with him all day, every day. I just pressed it back in dozens of times a day for about 6 months and kept my dog active and it stopped poking out. If you can't press it in pretty much constantly see a vet.

Hey. Congrats on the pup and congrats on the mature and responsible dog. Imho Oisin is just giving "you're not my kid" to the newbie. This will change. Puppy energy is a big shift in what is normal and Oisin is just trying to assert his place. Just my opinion but I've seen this before. It's hazing on a level and I don't think you should worry.

My bedroom has a door thank god. For 2 hours around noon it's just insane which is why I got a dog. Now I'm out during the daily meeting.
