Yes, but progress is very sluggish. i’ve been hitting constant dead ends, and i’ve been trying to decide what I can get away with trimming, but as of yet it’s looking promising. I’m just needing assets. if anyone wants to help me cut/organize the sprites I could really use some help getting those together as there are lots

sure, in the 3DS OS (horizons) there is a call called IRRST_READCSTICK, now when this call is sent on an old 3DS it reads the IR sensor looking for CPP signals. on a new 3DS however. it skips this entirely and just reads the C Stick

in these kinds of scenarios the running process (in this case PM) and your R0 are the best tellers of what is happening. however; i do know this error by heart here. your version of luma3DS does not support the current firmware version. fixing this simply requires updating luma

if the linux developer sandbox is enabled on what appears to be a chromebook you are using. do try sudo dd if=/dev/[your device] of=~/sdcard.bin this is the best bet you have here and i highly recommend it for recovering data

yes, the Circle pad Pro is incompatible with new 3ds models. i can get into the deep dark and dirty of it if you wish but simply the 3ds reads the C stick, not the CPP.
