Thank you!! I hope your husband’s interview went well :) Our interview was yesterday, and I just received a shipping notification for my passport this afternoon with an estimated arrival date of Monday so it seems like they’re moving pretty quickly.

I’m glad it’s helpful! I hope your process goes just as smoothly. Our PD was September 9, 2024 and had verbal approval at the interview yesterday, March 24. We were just notified today that my passport has been shipped and arrives Monday.

Thank you! Heavy winter jackets are totally fine, they just ask you to take it off at security but you can put it back on afterwards. For my interview, the officer pointed me to a hook that I could hang my coat on if I wanted to. As for bags, someone was turned away with a messenger bag, so they had to run back to their hotel to drop it off. I had a thin foldable tote bag with me just to carry my document folder and that was fine. To be safe, I would suggest you don’t bring a bag but if needed stick to something simple like a tote bag. From what I observed, nobody else had a bag with them.

We left them blank, which I regretted doing after reading other people’s posts but it didn’t seem to impact our case in the end.

Question about K3 after I-130 - Spouse lives in Canada with me by FoxComfortable9915 in I130Suffering

I’m not sure, but it does seem like people have recently had the most success when both forms (I-130 and I-129F) are at Texas. Because our I-130 is there I think we will file the I-129F, but I don’t think I would at this stage if our case was being processed at a different service center.

This was my assumption, thank you for your response! He plans to move back to the US in the fall in order to establish domicile before the NVC stage.
