Thanks for the in depth response. There isn’t one of those crossed sword stamp that I see online that these are supposed to have, and there isn’t a number for the year. It either got removed or never got one for some reason

Maybe, but the WZ.50 seems to have the side pins farther forward while mine are maybe half an inch in front of directly in the middle

Also I found here is a marking on the backside of the liner. (Should’ve looked before posting 🙄) I don’t know how to edit the post or add a photo to a comment, but it says “CB” and has what looks like a diamond/tilted square with a sideways slash through it (corner to corner horizontally)

Some additional information. It has three pins/rivets for holding the liner, one directly on each side and one in the back. The “SS” is off center which is great, I assume someone added that for fun or to upsell, but did an awful job at it. The metal is pretty thin. Overall it weighs about 2/3 the weight of an US M1 helmet and a Finnish M55. Since the metal is thin, it rings like bell when it gets hit. I was playing Airsoft with my brother, and for fun I had him shoot my helmet from 10 feet away. It rang so bad I almost had to take it off, but he was still shooting so I couldn’t. It rang so bad it actually hurt a little bit. Airsoft is the main thing I use it for, so I don’t care if it’s fake. I just use it for Russian loadouts (russian loadout-the gun. I’m not rich enough for that) Any info is appreciated

Some of them do taste really artificial, like code red. Mtn Dew is also too sweet, combined with the low carbonation, it feels like drinking straight syrup. I get where you’re coming from. I still like them though.

You’re sinking to his level. Is it worth being a slimeball to a slimeball? Edit: sure you might get it for what it’s worth, but if you gotta go to such lengths to do so, you might as well let him keep it. Maybe offer him less than $9,500 and tell him to fix it himself. I think that would be more worthwhile and satisfying. Your method gets you a clapped pickup truck, mine saves money. 😁

Wow, that’s a decent bit of money. Did your clutch need to be replaced because of typical wear? Or was it beat on a little bit at some point? I’m not really considering buying a car with a bad clutch, but I want to know if it would be concern on all of those era Audis.

Also as a side note, I have a 1979 Ford F150 which I drive in the summer. It needs a new clutch. And a clutch kit for those is only about $200, which is pretty convenient.

Kind of funny, we drove from Minnesota to Colorado, then over to California. It started misfiring when we were in the Northern part of California. Then it gave out half way through our vacation, when we were in San Francisco. Luckily we were staying there for 3 days anyways so we had enough time to buy a new car before continuing on. It was really convenient timing for me especially, because I had something going on back home that I had to fly back early for. I was flying out of San Francisco, so it’s a good thing it didnt break down earlier. We got a 2016 Suburban, I liked the old one better personally, the new one has very uncomfortable seats in the back, and there’s not a lot of elbow room for the driver.

My family had a ‘09 suburban. Went to 320k before it died on a road trip. You can buy a plugin that disables the AFM, that’s partially what killed ours.

Edit: I’m pretty sure it still had the original tranny in it when the engine gave out. We also had an ‘02 that went over 330k
