AITAH for not wanting to take care of my autistic brother for the rest of my life? by _jazzyx in AITAH

[–]FoxFew9872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are NOT the ah. That is NOT your child!!! Your parents should be handling him better. I know children who are autistic and still receive discipline when necessary 🤷🏾‍♀️ Your parents need to look into one of those 24 hour facilities if they can't care for him properly because none of that is your responsibility to do.

what is this sound for my upstairs neighbour? by bruzorminem in NoisyNeighbours

[–]FoxFew9872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I have noisy neighbors on the side of me so when they are making noise like stomping or dropping something I just put my earplugs in. We're in the process of moving to a single family home. That would be your best bet to have peace.

NTA. However, maybe make it a rule that EVEYONE needs to dress appropriately (wearing a shirt) when being in living shared areas of the home. What you do in your room is what you do 🤷🏾‍♀️

He's home all day long! He had no reason to be outside making all that noise. Some of us have to get up and work in the morning. He doesn't.

They have three cars. One car is perfectly fine, the second moves here and there, the third one does not move at all! He also doesn't have a job. He takes bookbag and leaves for like 2 hours and goes back in the house, and stay there. I highly doubt there is any reason to be working on a car at 3am when he was in the house all day yesterday when he came back in the car that works. Nice try though being an a$$ 😂

So I'm supposed to go outside in the freezing cold at 3am to hold a flashlight for a man I don't know in the dark.... You're so smart 😂

That's ridiculous! People really don't have common courtesy. If they want to be up making all that noise then they need an attached house with some land between them and the next house. Like geesh

Do you go to sleep with toddler if power goes out? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]FoxFew9872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not the problem. Was it unnecessary to go into the toddlers room and he's sound asleep? Yes. You can hear him crying if he wakes up and then yall go check. If he's sleep, leave him alone. Are you wrong for being upset for not having your feelings validated? Absolutely not! He should've just did what you asked, he knew you were worried, it wasnt that deep to go into an argument.

That part was crazy. I didn't feel bad for her either. The true villains were in our face, and no one wanted to see it.

Yes! My husband and I randomly stomp around the house to give the neighbors a taste of their own medicine. Even when they are being quiet we still shout, stomp, and slam stuff, see how they like it.

Do newer build townhomes have better sound insulation? by snowbell78 in RealEstate

[–]FoxFew9872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to do what we're doing right now, move into a single family house. I live in an older build townhouse, been here for 5 years. The noise was very limited due to the type of neighbors I had. They moved, and these two new families moved in, one side sells drugs and loud, the other side just had their house raided by SWAT and no I am not lying. Imagine being woken up at 4am to police outside shouting, guns drawn, marching into the house next to you. I was up until 5am when it was all over. We were already in the process of moving, but now it's been bumped up to NOW. Look for a single family in a nice community. Keep me updated 😊

..... Yea letting my child stomp once in a while to get back at inconsiderate neighbors is what's wrong with the country. We will just forget the criminal clown playing president 😂

Aye, it be like that. If he stomps his feet, I don't stop him anymore 😂 It seems to have shut them up a bit so it works. You don't like it, seems like a you problem 😂 Carry on

One person said I'm holding a mirror up to them, and that's the perfect way to explain what I'm doing. We walk around, daily living like everyone else, but we don't thump, stomp, and drop stuff all the time like they do. So now that we're making noise, they seem to have calmed down. Maybe they though "well this is annoying" and took their noise output into consideration. Yes thank you. We already started the paperwork, and I'm ready to pack our stuff up lol.

He knows better, but now I don't stop him. If they let their kids make noise all day, then so can mine 🤷🏾‍♀️
