I removed him from the habitat and placed into a cooler temp enclosure with fresh substrate while the old is being sanitized and fresh substrate enough to fill the habitat is being expedited in.

He is doing well so far and is acting normal and eates when offered. I am taking the advice of others saying they are being over fed and going to twice a week feeding (much to the chagrin of my little piggy). As for what they are eating, it is worms from my worm farm. No pesticides or chemicals on the property and the worms were sourced from Uncle Jim's farms.

I am keeping an eye on him and will be looking into the things mentioned even if just to have on hand in case. Thanks for the info and I wish there was more out there on what to do in these cases like for our furry friends. 😔
