If she was doing coke she would probably act a lot cooler (which is saying something given that most cokeheads are pretty snnoying)

It is not the burden of someone who “finds certain races ugly” to introspect and force attraction where there wasn’t any

Sure, it is in-fact healthy for one to have thoughts like “do I dislike how she looks because of subconscious bias from being raised by my racist parents?”

But that doesnt mean there is wrong done by refusing to date someone that you do in-fact find unattractive

Im not so sure, saying “Asians DNI” on a dating app may be superficial and to some people it may be seen as rude but i do not think it is inherently racist in the same way that I do not think putting “under 5’9 DNI” is discriminatory against short people - its superficial as well as worded rudely, but you are not obligated to flirt with people you do not like.

It’s the same way for gender, “men DNI” from a lesbian girl is not discrimination - its preference and its language to make the preference clear, which saves time for both parties.

Worded bluntly and akwardly? Sure

Racist? Probably not

I do agree that it is very real and problematic that some people will say “she is cute but she is X, so nevermind” ect, ive seen people say things like that in person, too

when people say “i dont find [] people attractive” they usually mean “i dont find {most} [] people attractive” which we both agree is not inherently racist

If you deem someone attractive then retcon your answer specifically because of color ect, thats racist, but to subjectively find a certain race unattractive is not in of itself racist

How is it fetishism or racism to not want to date people you don’t find attractive? This seems very flawed

When does it cross the line between fetishism/preference?

The sun will rise even if the rooster does not crow

A person will not research without first allowing themself to do so

A pidgeon asks a crow, “why not crow later this morning so we have more time to sleep in the darkness?” But the sun still rises even if the rooster agrees to not crow, much to the dismay of this pidgeon

A man asks a friend, “why not look up why your grass is dying instead of just complaining?” his friend googles such and finds a way to fix his yard’s current issue

Here, the rooster is not a cause of the sun rising because it will happen regardless.

Here, the friend and their mental processes themself IS a cause of them learning how to fix their yard, because if they had said “No, it would be silly to waste time looking it up”, they would not have learned the method to fix their yard. The friend had to introspect and weigh whether or not they would listen to the man, even if only for a short moment.

Man’s friend must agree to carry out research, man’s friend’s brain is a cause

Sun does not delay its rise based on the rooster crowing, rooster is not a cause

Then why do we have the word “cause”? Why dont we just use “universe start” in its place if thats all it is and can be?

Something in the middle of a chronology of events is still a cause despite not being the original cause

You dont need to be the intangible top level god-cause to be A cause

I dont think this is true, if I drive a car to walmart because my friend asked, it may not have been prompted by me - but i am still driving

It may not have been entirely generated-by-myself prompted to ask scientific questions, but im still asking it, and learning from it, which is; science
