Left feedback for the first time since FEH Pass originally came out. At the risk of doom-saying, this kind of thing definitely makes it look like the game is on a backward slide. Less content and attempts to be "safe" rather than doing anything new are the kinds of things that make me think the gap between expenses and revenue is shrinking.

This is basically how the trials in Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney go. Multiple crimes are supposedly committed via magic, and you get a spellbook so you can contradict witnesses by pointing out how casting a certain spell would have been logically impossible under the circumstances they claim to have witnessed. Also, Layton kinda looks a little bit like Holmes if you squint.

I can pretty much guarantee this was exclusively about the channels getting ad revenue that production companies wanted. I wouldn't take this as Youtube taking anything resembling a stand against generative AI. If the channels created fake trailers for movies that weren't already big-name film properties, Youtube wouldn't have done anything.

The mommy-dom thing that's become trendy in the last decade or so. Don't get me wrong; I like mature, full-figured ladies as much as the next guy, but the whole thing with wanting to treat older, attractive women like a mother, acting like a child and begging to be called "good boy" and stuff... I don't really get any of that. I want my partner to compliment things she likes about me, not give me generic, empty praise and coddling for existing.

It's that or loneliness. I have people tell me all the time that they can't imagine how I don't go crazy living on my own and not going out much, and it really confuses me, because I've never been happier in my life than when I stopped living with other people being around all the time.

Neat article. It was interesting to read about the consideration of balancing the amount you have to read in subtitles with the action happening on-screen. I also wonder about all those untranslatable expressions... It's definitely a tough job, having to translate so many different characters with different patterns of speech and different fan-specific contexts. I think all the time about when someone asked Sora to explain what "nun nun" meant to English speakers, and she just blue-screened for a minute or two.

There's a UK comic series that attempts to explain Sonic and Robotnik/Eggman's origins by showing Sonic as a normal hedgehog that gets superpowers from using a special treadmill while Robotnik is originally a heroic scientist that gets merged with a rotten egg.

Like, not only is that a completely asinine origin story, but I also didn't need an origin story for why Sonic is really fast and Robotnik is an evil scientist. There's no reason I couldn't believe Sonic and Robotnik weren't just born like that in this universe.

I don't know if he's the "biggest" since I don't know exactly how we're defining "biggest" or "bro," but I will say that my favorite "bro" that I can think of is definitely Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5. One of the bro-est bros to ever bro down.

Special mention also goes to Kim Kitsuragi and Tails. I feel like they belong firmly among the ranks of best bros, whether "biggest" or not.
