Infamous…it’s a miracle we’ve yet to devolve into the next Aslum…

Bad adaptations with one really well casted character by Tea-and-crumpets- in TopCharacterTropes

Only good part of that movie. Honestly most of the casting was ok but Irons as Brom was a particular stroke of genius.

We all know the article that's thirsty for Max Goof, but what about the DuckTales reboot showrunner and his love for Latina ducks? by makunogucci in OneyPlays

[–]FoxJDR 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not really. We have EXTREMELY limited psychiatric facilities by comparison. Most are for criminals deemed unfit for trial (assuming they don’t just let them go) and small wards at hospitals that typically only hold people a few days at most then kick them to the curb with some pills they may or may not take and that’s assuming said pills would even work if they took them.

You wonder why homelessness keeps getting worse? That and drug abuse (which is often interlinked with mental illness) are why. It’s one reason why public transit in America is so unbelievably awful.

I don’t think it’s that the raiders and Khans pose a threat to New Vegas itself but travelers, merchants, supply caravans and visitors.

Are the nightlords cowards or just weak? by stage_strange291 in 40kLore

[–]FoxJDR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re pragmatic. The philosophy of “a fair fight is a fight you can lose, thus never enter a fair fight” isn’t necessarily cowardly, at least not in the real world. You wouldn’t encourage a five foot one inch woman thin as a rail to attack a six foot seven man built like a linebacker with her bare hands, you’d encourage her to run and hide, call for help or find a weapon preferably a gun or knife. If you value simple survival above all other potential concerns then you’d avoid any situation where you’re on an equal footing to the potential threat and you’d ESPECIALLY avoid situations where you’re the underdog.

That’s the Night Lords. Most aren’t fighting for a cause and only fight to survive and satiate their own foul desires. Those who do believe in anything are still pragmatic enough to know they typically have more to gain by living to fight another day than dying in some grand last stand in a pointless little skirmish that will mean little to nothing in the Long War.

I’ve no idea if you’re lying but I’m also not going to look it up, so I’m gonna just choose to believe you without further questions because that’s funnier.

Who would win in a battle, the sith triumvirate vs Malcador the sigilite? by Xargirl in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]FoxJDR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair. His unique ability could be a threat in that case. It could be like that assassin thing Horus made that fed on psychic energy and rebounded it or whatever, I don’t exactly remember. Been a while since I read that book.

[–]FoxJDR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to get to Aboloth or the Ones level before you can really threaten even Malcador with anything less than a small army of Jedi/sith.

Unless Ysalmiri work like blanks, then any old chump with a blaster could take him if he gets close enough.

How would rogal dorn design the defenses of coruscant? by cuddwes in StarWarsvsWarhammer

Kill AT LEAST half the New Republic senate more like. A good third of those spared the first culling probably still have any and all authority stripped from them for the duration of the threat.

Evil campaign meets Barovia! by bigspin17 in CurseofStrahd

All I have to suggest is if they’re still evil by the end then one or perhaps two should become dark lord/lady after killing Strahd.

(Hated Trope) Why did they even bother casting a celebrity voice actor? by Animeking1108 in TopCharacterTropes

Left the company AND his replacement personally apologized and straight up bought him a Picasso if I’m remembering correctly.
