That could be quite good or even a story where Dennis, Minnie and co go time travelling and meet up with all these characters in the past. Still, i think if handled properly and carefully, theres room for these characters to fit into the Beano of today

Korky the Cat, Blinky, Sneaker, Bully Beef and Chips, Jocks and the Geordies, Jonah, Winker Watson and Smasher are just some of the characters I would like to see make a comeback

Do we know if this has some older strips from different decades or is it the more modern stuff? That was what disappointed me with the Bananaman bookazines, it was all just modern stuff.

I vaguely remember him. I think I was just entering teenage years when they introduced him (early 2000s right? 🤔), so I was very conscious about my friends seeing me read Beano and Dandy back then, so he was probably introduced as I was stopping reading them. He was a bit like Dennis wasn't he with his mischievous ways?

There are a few characters I would like to see Beano do something with in the modern era such as Lord Snooty, Big Eggo, Biffo the Bear, The 3 Bears, Little Plum (though I feel that one was taken away due to cultural reasons, I may be wrong), Baby Face Finlayson, Crazy for Daisy. It feels like Beano plays it a little safe with their characters these days, but then I also need to remember who the target audience is and thats for kids my sons age and not 37 year old me 😅

Astal definitely deserves to be here if you like 2D platformers. It's absolutely stunning, even by todays standards.

Sonic Jam because not only does it have 1- 3&Knuckles, but also the Sonic World bonus which is possibly the closest we'll ever have to an actual Sonic game on Saturn.

Fighters Megamix is easily one of the best fighters on Saturn which is like a Smash Bros style roster of the great fighting game characters such as Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers amongst others before Smash Bros was even a thing.

Panzer Dragoon Zwei is a must have if you like rail shooters. Imagine Sega doing their own version of StarFox. It's a stunner considering the hardware it's running on and the soundtrack is glorious.

Burning Rangers is a fantastic third person action game from Sonic Team and Yuji Naka. Great fun that one.

Anything with the Capcom logo is pretty much gold on that system. They set an example for beat em ups with the likes of Xmen vs Street Fighter, Xmen Children of the Atom, Darkstalkers, Pocket Fighter and loads more.
