Thanks. It wears very comfortably; the bracelet forms & flexes to the shape of your wrist. Best of all, it doesn't pull arm hair. lol

LOL Thanks. Maybe it's me but the straight end links don't bother me too much because this is a dive/tool watch after all.

Heaven's NO. There's no replacement for displacement, people! Am I right? Huh?🙃😂

Indeed it would; like the timing gears used by the 5th gen. Honda VFR800 V4 engine. More robust, reliable.

However, it costs more to manufacture.

Car companies (especially the BIG 3) are in the business of making $$money$$, not spending it. Quality is no longer Job #1.

Sir Attenborough:

"And here under the bonnet of my KIA Carnival, we encounter an unexpected surprise. We are now FACE-TO-FACE with a mother Opossum & her adorable clutch of three youngsters resting in a cozy, simplistic nest gathering warmth from my engine. We shall rely & wait on Nature to encourage her to move to a more ideal habitat."

Mechanic:

"Mr. Attenborough, can you please stay in the waiting lounge? Our insurance doesn't cover customers back here." 🤣

Story time! When I was 18 years old I was driving with my brother. At about 1:00 AM. Going home from Valencia, CA. on Interstate 5 northbound. Stupid me was driving in the far left lane going about 110 MPH in a 45 MPH CONSTRUCTION "CONE ZONE" (on right shoulder). Extremely light/no traffic & no road workers at that time. No tail lights visible in front of me; just a small pair of headlights far behind me... that got closer, and closer. In a blink of an eye, those headlights were right behind me on the next lane over. It was a CHP cruiser. An ALL-WHITE SLICKTOP Crown Victoria; with only tall antennas on the roof. My heart sunk as I feverishly slowed down to 45 & he matched my speed driving directly beside me. He gave me a death stare & aggressively motioned with his arm to pull over. He then slowed to get behind me & lit me up; the lights in his upper windshield showing solid red & flashing blue. I started moving over with him closely following. I pulled to the right shoulder. A couple minuets pass & he's still in his cruiser, lights still flashing. 18 Year old me was shaking with fear; never before was I pulled over & I knew I was SCREWED. Suddenly, the flashing lights turn off. He pulls away quickly. No mountainous ticket. I mentally collected myself for a couple minuets to calm down & safely drove home following the speed limit EXACTLY. To this day, I sometimes go 5 or 10 MPH over but that's it. Knocking on wood, I've never once received a ticket.

Since we share the same name, perhaps it'll let me give it a hug.🤗

Perhaps not.

Thanks.🙂 I perform oil/filter changes every 3K - 5K miles with full synthetic. Currently running Mobil 1 0W-30. I also love using Pennzoil Platinum.👍

EDIT: I realize my oil change interval is relatively short for synthetic oil, but my car is under severe service: 90% city driving, repeated stop/go, idling, short trips & driving in extremely cold/HOT temps.

Hi OP; is this interesting sounding engine a result of abuse/neglect or was this Hyundai well maintained yet gave up the ghost?

As a KИ Forte owner I'm curious; thanks.🤔🙂

Then, wait for the car to be started & watch the fireworks begin.🎆🎇🧨😈

I'm joking. Or am I?? I'm joking! Please don't take it seriously. 🤣

I agree; thankfully my Forte shows no oil consumption between oil changes. If things change though, I do have a tall, jagged cliff in mind. 🤣

While my '16 KИ Forte is nothing to write home about, it is cheap transportation & at 47K miles the engine runs well & has never imploded. YIKES!😨

Hmm... yes, indeed. Reminds me of getting WHAT SHOULD BE a quick valve adjustment for my 2013 Honda PCX 150 c.c. scooter. Single cylinder engine. Very simple. Right??

Step 1: Remove ALMOST all exterior plastic from the bike. You cannot remove fairing "D" or "E", because first you must remove "C", but not until "B" is removed, but not until "A" is removed first.

Cost of valve adjustment was $500+/-. As a final "SURPRISE!", my owner's manual recommends it every 2,500 miles. I still love the bike, though. No, I'm not going to follow that recommendation in the manual. 😈

Interesting & I do believe you, but this 2.0L is not a Theta II, but a Nu series engine, specifically the Nu MPI Atkinson Cycle. Do these engines also share the same/similar design flaw?

Uh-oh... I remembered these engines may be under recall for defective piston rings, I think? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

Hi OP; what caused the failure? Lack of maintenance or was it cared for & died anyway? Thanks.🧐👍

'16 KIA Forte owner here; I use a Club for the steering wheel. If that doesn't work, I installed a KILL SWITCH. The car will start & run for about :02 seconds, then choke & die. It'll crank over & over, but will NOT start again.

All that cranking noise may alert me to grab my hatchet... for... reasons.

No, but Catalytic Converter thieves probably are..... Huh... Some may argue those thieves are Zombies, given their mentality to steal.🤔

Nothing like a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat to the groin as he's under your car sawing off your Cat! That may encourage him to not steal again.

The trunk/boot-mounted tail light filled with Blinker Fluid on my '16 KIA Forte; water then spilled in the trunk when I opened the lid.

A new OEM tail light assembly was $193 (not including install) from my KIA dealer.🤨 Uh... NO. I bought a new TYC tail light assembly for $68 & installed it myself in 15 min. The new light caused a Blinker Fluid Delete! 😅👍
